Help Desk Reports
Help Desk Reports allow you to keep track of your technicians. See the details of each technician, their actions performed, and their logons.
The Help Desk Reports menu comprises of the following reports:
Technicians Report
This report lists all the available help desk technicians, along with details like delegated farms, tenants, roles, site collections, management tasks, and more.
To generate this report, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Delegation tab → Help Desk Reports → Technicians Report.
- The list will display the report for all technicians. To search for a specific technician, use the search bar located above the list.
- Click the icon on the top-right corner to expand all the details.
Technicians Audit Report
This report lists the actions or operations performed by all help desk technicians. It provides details such as what action was performed on which object and the time at which it was performed. It also offers options to narrow down the search results based on the time period.
To generate this report, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Delegation tab → Help Desk Reports → Technicians Audit Report.
- In the Period field, specify the duration for which you want the data to be displayed.
- To specify the search result criteria, use the icon located above the list. Hit Enter to generate.
Technicians Logon Report
The Technicians Logon Report displays all help desk technicians' logon details such as:
- System's hostname or IP address used by the technician for login
- Status of the session
- Login and logoff time
- Duration of the session
- Domain name
- Authentication method used
To generate this report, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Delegation tab → Help Desk Reports → Technicians Logon Report.
- All the sessions will be listed by default. To select only active sessions, closed sessions, or failed logons, use the Session Type drop-down located above the list.
- Use the Period field to specify the duration for which you want to generate this report.
- To specify the search result criteria, use the icon. Hit Enter to generate.
- You can also sign out the active technicians by selecting them and clicking the Sign Out button above the list.
