The enterprise mobility management (EMM) market is on the cusp of a major evolution. With BYOD policies picking up steam, enterprises are increasingly looking for a unified endpoint management (UEM) model that will provide them with a single software platform for controlling a wide range of enterprise devices. International Data Corporation (IDC) just released their latest Worldwide EMM Software Vendor Assessment to help make choosing an EMM or UEM solution a little easier.
Both reports evaluated Zoho Corp., ManageEngine's parent company, specifically highlighting its EMM solutions, Endpoint Central and Mobile Device Manager Plus. ManageEngine was identified as a Major Player in the EMM landscape because it offers all the necessary device management functions identified by IDC. These include device tracking, management, and configuration, as well as security and application policy implementation for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets.
