License management

    ADManager Plus is licensed based on the number of Google Workspace accounts backed up. This section allows you to manage licenses and select the accounts that you wish to back up.

    When you add any account to a backup schedule, a license is automatically applied to it. This section allows you to remove licenses assigned to accounts.

    The screen displays the following information at the top of the table.

    • Total Licenses – This shows the number of licenses purchased.
    • Used Licenses – This shows the number of accounts licensed by the product.
    • Remaining Licenses – The number of unused licenses is shown here.

    When you remove a license assigned to an account, all backups of the account will be deleted from your backup repository and the account will also be removed from any backup schedules that it is a part of.

    You can remove licenses assigned to all accounts in a particular Workspace or just specific accounts.

    To remove licenses assigned to all accounts in a particular Workspace:

    • Select the Workspace that contains the accounts to be unlicensed.
    • Click Select All at the top of the table and click the icon unassign icon.

    To remove licenses assigned to particular accounts:

    • Select the Workspace that contains the accounts to be unlicensed.

    Check the box next to the accounts from which you'd like to remove the license and click the icon unassign icon next to it.
