You cannot change the location of the existing HTTP-upload store directory to a new location. You get either of the following error messages:
You can see the error messages mentioned above because of one of the following reasons:
You are required to identify the cause of the problem you are facing and resolve it using the relevant solution given below:
New location is empty
Ensure that you have specified a valid location
Insufficient space in the specified location
Ensure that you do the following:
Unable to write the new drive
Enter a valid drive name
Specified drive does not exist
Enter a valid drive name
Special characters in the name of the folder of the drive
Ensure that the name of the folder does not contain / \ : * ? " < > |
Location of the network share does not exist
Enter an existing share name with a UNC path
Unable to write in the network share
Ensure that you set the permissions for access to 'Everyone' when you use a network share to copy the required executable files
Network share and server belong to different domains
Ensure that the network share belongs to the same domain as that of the Endpoint Central server.
Unable to find the specified drive
Ensure that you do not specify a mapped drive to store the executable files. Mapped drives are user-specific.
Configure HTTP Store on a remote computer
If you have enabled Failover service, ensure that the HTTP store is not located on the machine where Endpoint Central server or the Failover server is installed.
Configure HTTP repository in a different location
If you have enabled scheduled database backup, ensure that you provide a different location for HTTP repository.
