Bookmark

The bookmark method lets admins save login URLs for external applications that lack SAML or OAuth/OIDC support. Administrators can configure application-specific URLs, which will then be displayed on users' dashboards. This bookmark app integration provides a link to the application's sign-in page. Users can enter their usernames and passwords to access the external application. Passwords are not stored or shared through this method.

Bookmark configuration in Identity360:

  1. Log into Identity360 as an Admin or Super Admin.
  2. Navigate to Applications → Application Integration and click Custom Application.
  3. In the General Settings tab, enter the Application Name and upload the icons for the application if available.
  4. Select SSO under the Choose Capabilities section to enable SSO for the custom application and click Continue.
  5. Under Integrations Settings, select Bookmark as the SSO method.
  6. Enter the URL of the application's sign-in page into the Login URL field. This will take users to the application's login page. Please note that this URL does not automatically log users in; they will need to enter their username and password to complete the authentication and access the application.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Once the application is configured, navigate to the Single Sign-on tab.
  9. In the Assigned To column, you can assign specific users or groups to give them access to the application through their user portal.
  10. After completing these steps, users can visit their application dashboard and access the application assigned to them.
