Account Linking

Account linking is configured to link user and group objects in Universal Directory with other directories. This ensures the correct object is updated when changes are made in Identity360 or the other directories. It is recommended that you use an attribute that is unique to an object, which will share the attribute value between Universal Directory and the directory that the object is synced from, in this setting.

To configure account linking:

• Select an attribute that is unique to an object in Universal Directory from the Universal Directory Attribute drop-down list.
• Select an attribute that is unique to an object in the directory that the object is synced with from the respective drop-down list.
• Click Save to link the attributes.
