Associate Credentials

API EndPoint : assocCredential

Associates the network devices with their respective credentials. We use two modes of authentication.

1. SSH Key-Based Authentication

2. Password Based Authentication

You can also associate profiles created instead of providing complete credentials directly.

Password Based Authentication works with both SSH & Telnet connections.

In addition SNMP Connections and Rest API based connections are also supported. You can associate SNMP Profiles to enable SNMP communication with the network device or provide Rest API credentials to perform api based operations.

Vendorwise Configlets

API EndPoint : getConfiglet

Vendorwise Devices

API EndPoint : getDevicesforVendor

To list devices belonging to a specific vendor, it can be used in selecting devices for Device Group, Schedule, Credential Rule, Configlet, like wherever NCM has requirement to select devices for an operation.

Add Device

API EndPoint : addDevice

This API is used to add non-snmp devices which cannot be or not discovered automatically to the NCM manually.

We can add

- devices one by one with IPADDRESS param

- multiple devices with BULKIPADDRESSES param

- devices failed to get discovered using DISCOVERY_PROFILE_ID & ARE_FAILED_DISCOVERY_DEVICES param
