Group membership changes reports in Azure AD can be obtained by following the below mentioned steps:
Login to ADAudit Plus
Go to the Reports tab
Choose Azure AD
Select the required Domain from the dropdown list
Navigate to Group Management
Select Recently Removed Members from Groups
This provides the report on members who have been recently removed from the group
The history of group membership changes in groups can be identified from the following reports:
Recently Added Members to Groups - Provides details of users who have been added to a group
Recently Added Owners to Groups - Provides information about owners who have been added to a group
Recently Removed Owners from Groups - Provides information about owners who have been removed from a group
Group Owners are users or service principles that can manage a group including group membership
With Azure portal, here is how you can monitor the group membership changes:
Open the Azure portal
Search Azure Active Directory and select it
Scroll down panel on the left side of the screen and navigate to Manage
Select Groups tab
Now click on Audit Logs under Activity
GroupManagement is the pre-selected Category
Select an entry from the list of results that appear to get detailed information on group membership changes, change of group owner and the likes
To generate the group membership changes report, click Download option to create a report in CSV or JSON format
