Security reports

Security is the lifeline of any environment. Make sure your Exchange Online environment is secure with the Security reports available under Exchange Reporter Plus. Navigate to the Reports tab → Exchange Online → Other Services → Security Reports to get reports about mailbox security, user security, and activities by admins and users.

Preconfigured Security reports

The reports available under this sub-category are further classified into four sections:

• Mailbox Security Reports
• User Security Reports
• Admin Activities Reports
• User Activities Reports

Mailbox Security Reports

• User Mailbox Security: Lists all users with access to a particular mailbox, their corresponding access rights, and the inherited rights.
• Shared Mailbox Security: Lists all users with access to a particular shared mailbox, their corresponding access rights, and the inheritance.
• Mailbox Retention Policy: Lists all the retention policies set in your Office 365 tenant.
• Mailbox On Hold: Displays the mailboxes that are placed on Litigation Hold.
• Mailbox Auditing: Lists all audit-enabled mailboxes and the audit admin rights.

User Security Reports

• Exchange Admin Roles: Lists all the admin roles set in your Exchange environment.

Admin Activities Reports

• Exchange Admin Activity: Reports on all the activities performed by Exchange mailbox admins.
• InPlace Hold & eDiscovery Activity: Lists all the InPlace Hold and eDiscovery tasks performed by users in your Office 365 tenant. 
• Litigation Hold Activity: Lists all the mailboxes put on Litigation Hold.
• Mailbox Quota Changes: Lists all mailbox quota changes
• Mailbox Size Changes: Lists all changes made to mailbox size.
• Mailbox Permission Changes: Lists all changes made to mailbox permissions.
• Mailbox Delegate Changes: Lists all changes made to mailbox size.
• Mailbox Created: Lists all the mailboxes created.
• Mailbox Deleted: Lists all the mailboxes deleted.

User Activities Reports

• Non-Owner Mailbox Access: Lists all the non-owner mailbox access rights.
• Send As Activities by Non-Owners: Lists the Send As permissions assigned to delegates of mailboxes.
• Mailbox Login Activities: Lists all mailbox login activities.
• Exchange User Activities: Lists all the activities performed by users in your Exchange environment.
