Event ID 1006 indicates that the mailbox replication service failed to process the replication requests. It throws an MAPI exception (unknown user error). Monitoring mailbox replication with Exchange Reporter Plus
Exchange Reporter Plus is a reporting, monitoring and change auditing tool for Exchange servers, Exchange Online and Skype for Business servers. It offers an exclusive report to monitor mailbox replication status all time. You can also configure alerts to get immediate SMS or email update to the configured number and IDs. In case of major errors, the alerts are classified as critical and displayed in the dashboard.
Steps to access mailbox replication reports:
- Go to the Monitoring tab on the top pane.
- Navigate to Exchange Server > Server Monitoring.
- Choose the Mailbox Replication Health report from the list of reports.
- Enter the period and type of view for report generation.

- Go to the Audit tab
