Gram-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)

The Gram-Leach-Bliley Act was enacted to safeguard customer information in financial institutions. As per the act, every organization must convey how they protect and share their customers' personal information with third party service providers. The privacy rule of this act ensures confidentiality of customer's nonpublic personal information (NPI).

Financial institutions must meet security and privacy requirements to achieve compliance. This includes monitoring user activity, storing information, controlling access rights and more in your Active Directory environment.
