Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)

    Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) lays down certain standards to ensure payment data security. It applies to organizations that accept, store and transmit cardholder data.

    A majority of the PCI DSS requirements deal with monitoring and securing your network. Organizations must protect cardholder data, restrict access, and satisfy other requirements to become PCI compliant. This can ideally be achieved by deploying Active Directory Domain Services in your network.

    Manage your AD environment with ADManager Plus and perform management tasks with ease. Obtain the following information using reports and achieve compliance:

    SECTION DESCRIPTION REPORTS
    7.1 and 7.2 Limit access to system components and cardholder data to only those individuals whose job requires such access.
    Establish an access control system(s) for systems components that restricts access based on a user’s need to know, and is set to 'deny all' unless specifically allowed.
    Generate reports on:
    10.3 Record audit trail entries for all system components for each event, including at a minimum: user identification, type of event, date and time, success or failure indication, origination of event, and identity or name of affected data, system component or resource. Reports on:

    Steps to generate PCI-DSS reports in ADManager Plus,

    1. Logon to ADManager Plus and navigate to the Reports tab.
    2. In the left pane, click Compliance Reports.
    3. Under PCI, click the report that you wish to generate.
    4. Select the desired domain(s) and hit Generate.
