Log360 MSSP can be downloaded and used for a 30-day trial period along with technical support . Once the 30-day trial ends, you have to purchase and apply for the license to continue enjoying the full benefits of the product.
After the purchase of License, you can apply the license file to the product using the License link available in the top right corner of the Log360 MSSP Web portal.
Manage Client License Page is used to allocate Resources and view allocated resources for each Client.
This page can be used to view License status of each Client and it's Child Components in Details Pop Up.
Applying MSSP License
MSSP License can be applied by clicking License button on top-right corner.
Browse the MSSP License File and click Apply License to apply.
Applying MSSP License is a mandatory step to allocate license to Clients.
Without applying MSSP License, Clients can be integrated but Resources cannot be allocated.
Internet connection is a must for License Module to work.
Applying License To Client
Resource Allocation Pop Up can be opened by clicking View button in Allocation Details Column
When allocating resources to a client for the first time, Required Resources Count can be set and allocated to Client by clicking Apply.
If Resources are already applied to the Client by Log360 MSSP, when View button is clicked, the applied resource Summary opens.
Resources can be edited and applied by clicking Edit button on the top-right corner.
Current License Status of Client and its Child Components can be viewed by clicking Details button in Status Column.
Registered status indicates that the provided component possesses a standard license, which is not employed by Log360 MSSP. Hence, Log360 MSSP will not monitor and notify expiry for such components.
When hovered on Last Updated By Value, last updated date and time is shown.
Expiry Date column shows the Client's current License's Expiry Date.
If allocation fails in any of the Child Components, License can be reapplied by clicking the Re-Apply License button.
Re-Apply License button applies the same license again. This can be used when a component was down previously but is now up and running.
