Extension Profile Generator

The Extension Profile Generator creates extension profiles, which serve as the foundational building blocks of an extension. Using the Extension Profile Generator, you can incorporate Log360Cloud's capabilities—such as log formats, parser rules, alert profiles, correlation rules, custom widgets, applications, and web tabs—into an extension profile. These profiles can then be utilised to build fully functional extensions seamlessly.

How to Create an Extension Profile

1. Go to Settings -> Admin -> Marketplace -> Extension Profiles.



2. Only custom profiles created by the user—such as custom reports, alert profiles, correlation rules, and other custom-created profiles—will be listed in the Extension Profile section.



3. Choose profiles from different modules, such as Log Formats, Custom Widgets, etc., and click on Create Extension Profile.



4. Once the extension profile is created, Download it and upload it in the Extension Builder to create the extension.

How to Edit an Extension Profile

1. Go to Settings -> Admin -> Marketplace -> Extension Profiles.



2. Click on the edit icon [] in the Manage Extension Profiles table to modify the existing profile.

How to Delete an Extension Profile

1. Go to Settings -> Admin -> Marketplace -> Extension Profiles.



2. Click on the delete icon [] in the Manage Extension Profiles table to remove the extension profile.

My Extensions

All extensions created by you will be listed on this page. Here, you can view details such as the status of the extension and other relevant information.

To create a new extension, click on Create Extension from the My Extensions page.
