Extensions are pre-built software components that can either add a set of custom features into Log360 Cloud or integrate other third-party applications into Log360 Cloud. Log360 Cloud's flexible platform enables it to address a wide-range of industry specific use cases.
To help create new ManageEngine Log360 Cloud extensions, we have introduced Extension Profile Generator and Extension Builder. These capabilities allow developers to build powerful extensions and third-party integrations and publish them to the larger community of ManageEngine Log360 Cloud users through the ManageEngine Marketplace.
The extensions you create fall into one of the following two categories:
Native extensions enhance ManageEngine Log360 Cloud's functionality by adding custom features to the system. These extensions can include one or more of the following components:
For instance, if a Log360 Cloud customer requires out-of-the-box reports, alert profiles, and correlation rules for their organization, a developer can build native extensions and share them with the customer, saving them significant time on customization.
Third-party application extensions enable users to integrate data from external security or business applications into Log360 Cloud. Customers can download the extension for the application they use in their organization from the Marketplace, install it, and utilize it seamlessly.
