Gateway server management
A gateway server monitors web traffic to provide actionable insights into the web applications used and helps enforce data protection policies like blocking unsanctioned applications. Find the steps for successful configuration of a gateway server here.
Editing a gateway server in a gateway cluster
To edit a gateway server, follow the below steps:
- Log in to the DataSecurity Plus web console.
- Select Cloud Protection from the application drop-down.
- Go to Configuration > Server > Gateway Configuration.
- On the Gateway Configuration page, select the desired gateway cluster from the Gateway Clusters panel.
- Under the Gateway Servers panel, in the Actions column, click Edit Configuration next to the gateway server you want to edit.
- In the Update Gateway Configurations window, select the required gateway cluster configuration that should be applied for that particular gateway server and click Update.
Disabling a gateway server in a gateway cluster
To disable a gateway server, follow the below steps:
- Log in to the DataSecurity Plus web console.
- Select Cloud Protection from the application drop-down.
- Go to Configuration > Server > Gateway Configuration.
- On the Gateway Configuration page, select the required gateway cluster from the Gateway Clusters panel.
- Under the Gateway Servers panel, in the Actions column, click Disable next to the gateway server you want to disable and click Yes.
Deleting a gateway server in a gateway cluster
To delete a gateway server, follow the below steps:
- Log in to the DataSecurity Plus web console.
- Select Cloud Protection from the application drop-down.
- Go to Configuration > Server > Gateway Configuration.
- On the Gateway Configuration page, select the required gateway cluster from the Gateway Clusters panel.
- Under the Gateway Servers panel, in the Actions column, click Delete next to the gateway server you want to delete and click Yes.
Managing a gateway server
To manage a gateway server, follow the below steps:
- Log in to the DataSecurity Plus web console.
- Select Cloud Protection from the application drop-down.
- Go to Configuration > Server > Gateway Configuration.
- On the Gateway Configuration page, select the required gateway cluster from the Gateway Clusters panel.
- Under the Gateway Servers panel, in the Health column, click the Manage link beside the target gateway server to get the configuration status.
