Policy Overview Reports - Rule Management Reports

Firewall Analyzer offers an exhaustive set of Policy Overview reports under the Rule Management report section.

Refer the Rule Management Report Support page, for the list of firewall devices.

Firewall Analyzer fetches all the policies. rules, ACLs,and ACEs from the firewall devices and generates the following reports:

  • Total Rules

All the rules, policies available in the firewall device.

  • Allowed Rules

The rules of the device which allow the traffic.

  • Denied Rules

The rules of the device which deny the traffic.

  • Firewall Inbound Rules

The rules of the device which control the inbound traffic.

  • Firewall Outbound Rules

The rules of the device which control the outbound traffic.

  • Inactive Rules

The rules which are not active.

  • Logging Disabled Rules

The rules of the device for which the logging has been disabled.

  • Allowed ANY to ANY Rules

The rules of the device which allow 'from any to any' traffic without restriction.

  • Allowed Rules with ANY services

The rules of the device which allow traffic from any service without restriction.

With these reports, you will get the complete list of firewall policies segregated category wise.
