Rule expiry feature helps to find the expiry of scheduled rules and helps to identify the scheduled, active, about to expire, expired and recurring rules.
Firewall Analyzer's Expiry Notification feature can help security admins track the status of firewall rules and get notified on which rules have expired. This feature will get activated automatically when the rules are fetched from the feature supported devices. Select the device to get the expiry notification report.
This smart firewall rule expiration notification feature gives visibility on the following:
1. All scheduled rules
Lists all the firewall rules for which any kind of schedule has been set.

2. Active rules
Enumerates all the active firewall rules for which a schedule has been set. Security admins can also track specific active rules and get notified the moment an active rule expires.
Using the Show filter, you can view all the active rules with All Active Rules option and rules which are active for the specified period of time with Rules which are active for next < 24 Hrs, 7 Days, 30 Days, 90 Days> option.
To get notified on expiry of a particular rule, select the rule and click Notify Me button. You will email notification to the configured email ID.

3. Upcoming rules
Catalogs all the rules that are scheduled to turn active in the future.
Rules which becomes active in future will be listed here.
4. Expired rules
Records all the rules that have expired.
Using the Show filter, you can view all the expired rules with All Expired Rules option and rules which expired the past specified period of time with Rules Expired in the last < 24 Hrs, 7 Days, 30 Days, 90 Days> option.
