Asset Scan Details

The asset scan in AssetExplorer supports the following devices and their attributes.

 

 

Supported Devices

Attributes

Workstations/Server:  

Windows, Linux, Mac, AIX, Solaris

Windows (HyperV)

Basic Information: Name, Model, Manufacturer, Part Number, Service Tag, Processor Count, Disk Space, IP Address, MAC Address, Domain, and Last Logged in User.

Computer System: BIOS Manufacturer, BIOS Version, SMBIOS Version, and BIOS Date.

Operating System: OS, Version, System Type, Build Number, Service Pack, and Product ID.

Processor: S.No, Processor, CPU Stepping, Manufacturer, CPU  Speed and Number of Cores.

Memory: Physical Memory and Virtual Memory.

Installed Memory Modules: Total Slots, Socket, Capacity, Module Tag, Bank Label, Memory Type, and Frequency.

Network Adapters: S.No, IP Address, MAC Address, NIC, DHCP,  DHCP Server, and Network.

Hard Disks: Serial Number, Model, Manufacturer, Capacity and Usage.

Logical Disk: Serial Number, Drive, Drive Type, File Type, Capacity, Free Space, and Drive Usage.

Physical Drives: S.No, Drive Name, Drive Type, Manufacturer, Driver Version, and Driver Provider.

Printer: S.No, Name, Model, Type, Server, and Location.

Monitor: Monitor Type, Serial Number, Resolution, and Manufacturer.

Keyboard: Type, Serial Number, and Manufacturer.

Mouse: Name, Serial Number, Mouse Buttons, and Manufacturer.

Video Card: Chipset, Video Card Memory.

Sound Card: Sound Card Name.

Ports: S.No., Port Name, and Port Status.

USB Controllers: Name, and Manufacturer.

Installed Software: Name, Version, Architecture, Vendor, Architecture, and Installed On.

User Account Details: S.No, Account Name, Domain Name, Description, Status, and SID.

Only for Oracle Database: Count, SQL PATH Group Name, Home Name, and Bundle Name  

Only for Hyper V: Name, VM ID, CPU Limit, CPU Reservation Percentage, CPU Shares, Memory Reservation, Memory Limit, and Memory Shares.

Virtual Host  

VMware [ESX, ESXi]

Virtual Host

Basic Information: Name, Model, Manufacturer, VM Platform, and Host Vendor, ServiceTag, Total Slots, Disk Space, IP address, and MAC address.

Hardware information: Processor Name, CPU Stepping, Processor Manufacturer, Number of Cores, Processor Count and Clock Speed.    

OS Information: Operating System Name, Type, Service Pack, Version, Build Number, and Product ID.              

Logical Drives: Drive Name, Drive Type, File Type, Capacity, Free Space, and Drive Usage.                          

Virtual Machine

Name, Guest OS, Memory Reservation, Memory Limit, Memory Share, Memory Shares Level, MAC Address, IP Address, VM Host, Domain, CPU Reservation, and CPU Limit.

SNMP Devices

Printers

Basic Information: Name, Serial Number, MAC Address, IP Address, and Subnet Mask.

Printer Input Units: Input Unit Name, Input Type, Total Capacity, and Current Level.

Printer Output Units: Output Unit Name, Output Type, Capacity, and Current Level.

Printer Marker Sub Units: Marker Type, and Marker Life Count.

Printer Marker Supply Units: Marker Supply Type, Marker Supply Description, Marker Supply Max Capacity, Marker Supply Level, and Marker Supply Usage.

Routers

Basic Information: Name, Product, Manufacturer Serial Number, IP Address, MAC Address, Subnet Mask, Estimated Bandwidth, IOS, Config Register, CPU (in MB), CPU Revision, DRAM Size, Firmware Revision, Flash Size, NVRAM Size, and OS version.

Interfaces: Admin Status, Operational Status, Speed (Mbps), IP Address, Interface Type, Interface.

Switches

Basic Information: Name, Product, Manufacturer Serial Number, IP Address, MAC Address, Subnet Mask, Estimated Bandwidth, IOS, Config Register, CPU (in MB), CPU Revision, DRAM Size, Firmware Revision, Flash Size, Number of Ports, Processor Board ID, NVRAM Size, and OS version.

Ports: Port Name, Admin Status, Operational Status, and Speed (Mbps).
